all of us had no mood for lesons today.. den once the bell rings u can see victorians rushing to take the bus to toa payoh sports hall for the bball girls finals. i quickly found ys and we board the bus but got separated so i sat with alan.. i was expecting them to win.. mayb by few pts..

ok this is the part i hate. ppl started shouting 'vj vj boleh' etc etc when they r warming up.. giv them a break lah.. i'm sure they wld appreciate some peace.. everytime jr shouted smth.. we like must shout back.. the red shirts were quite insensitive.. seems like they r jus there to do their job n pack up n go home.. unlike last yr red shorts, u cant really see the passion in them.

for the 1st quarter the pts are quite close, no 4 did 2 3-pointers according to ys. not a gd lead at all. 2nd half ended with both sides not scoring much.. actually close to half of the pts scored were due to fouls.. i think the sch gave them too much pressure.. red shirts were mad lah. seems to me tat since vj has been labelled 'enthusiatic', most of us just cheer to live up to the name, and not cheering their hearts out for the girls. for me i really cheer when i really feel like cheering. compare to ajc, the support from the sch was so much better and heart-warming.. their councillors were much much much better. the aj girls behind me were screaming like siao during the guys finals. i think this is y aj are fighting so hard on the court.. for us, seems liike we're just trying to beat rj in cheers and not cheering sincerely. the girls must have felt it.

we actually caught up at a point.. like 46-46 or smth.. but rj just got it gg and kept scoring.. even penalties din help us. the girls look dejected. according to ys, he said the coach used a tactic to let each girl tag 1 rj player at first. they ended up running everywhere.. den rj players spread out ard the round box so to attack them is diff.. den vj put no8 to shoot 3 pointer.. of 10+ shots like only 1 went in. dunno wats wrong with her.. during semis she was so gd.. put her out kaoz!! everytime got a penalty shoot i see the way she's shooting cmi den or when the court is open she jus anyhow shoot and let rj catch the rebound.. den lastly, he say they use no 8 as a bait, she will pass the ball to the inside n score.. din quite work.. everytime we scored, rj is quick to score again. clearly last quarter they just gave up.. perhaps they were shocked by rj n din know how to cope with it, being the favourites? dunno.. but confirm is the pressure we gave them. dunno when to keep quiet.. keep saying vj vj vj also like got use.. they shld not have let no8 in.. she made lots of stupid mistakes

i believe tat the girls have done their v best, but prob it was due to rj's stronger determination. from the way they snatch the ball and trying to intercept their opponent, they really want the championship title more.. yet, louisa amelia have put on a gd fight.. ys n i stayed back for the guys finals. quite excited.. my ex classmate xavier is playing for aj.. wanted to see how their no 15 will perform.. cos his performance for last yr semis was amazing..

the fight was v close throughout the match.. both sides were so set on winning each other. aj's no 8 and 10 worked beautifully.. they had no 15 to snatch the ball, no 8 and 10 to pass to each other and 13 and no 9 to defend and score.. being soooo tall. for hci side i din notice the ppl, all look like retainees.. or convicts.. fat n angry looking. except for their captain no.7. looks like a little boy. along the way no 7 got injured and aj took the chance to score.. the scores are quite close until the last quarter.. by then, i had found n talk to my dear deyian pals.. saw vincent n seeming leading ajc in cheers. wen hui among them.. allan sitting with the innova crowd and xavier sitting with his team mates.. ard 3rd or 4th quarter.. ys said no. 7 like purposely faked injury so tat his coach go time to talk to the team b4 the penalty shoot. and den he purposely throw his penalty ball lower so tat his team mates can catch it and start another tactic.. so pro rite? tat hci captain was really gd like wat ys said the spiritual leader and the director in the game.. he din score much or wat but can see he kept giving them instructions on wat to do on court n creating opportunities.. tats y i believe tats the reason y hci won.. both sides have the skills but the hc captain had better foresight n determination. u can see how hard he's trying to give instructions when he's off-court.. without him guiding the rest, hci wld have lost. but still, i like the ajc team better. they din give up at all till the last min where u can see no 15 starting to anyhow play.. no matterwat.. the ajc team was beyond control.. they really fight for it.. i think aj's 8, 10, 15 are the best! oh ya i joined ajc in their cheering cos their sch and councillors' spirit is so overwhelming, red shirts ought to learn from them.

aft everything we went to bk for late lunch or early dinner. allan, jin wen n vincent joined us.. saw yuk lum in central and also victor.. he still look so nerd. aft tat we looked at toys and went to j8 to find more food.. tmr is amazing race n harmoc concert!!! (=

cant believe i typed so much.. just wan to spill everything out b4 i forget it. today taught me sth impt.. for a team to win, the skills/stamina/team effort/coordination is only essential for a gd performance. on tat day, the team who is hungrier for victory wins.
