once i received an sms from ys saying we just won 4-2 to mj in the soccer guys finals, i felt my flu was healed automatically. my heart skipped a beat aft receiving an update saying mj just scored 0-1. ok den 1-1. ok den 2-1. and den 2-2. GOT CHANCE. den 3-2. i knew we were winning cos i was told there were few min left. i'm quite certain we had won. while i was eating my sushi, 4-2! WE WON! this is like the highlight of the yr for any victorian. anyone of us will start gg crazy at this. i began imagining wats the scene like at jalan besar stadium. i predicted girls will start crying, ppl hugging, guys shouting for full day off tmr, red shirts getting the crowd to do a victory cheer, the guys kissing the championship trophy, mr tan in tears? wat a pity i'm not there. u see, our family had a bday celebration for my dad's bday, and i cant cant miss this dinner. family more impt. i still rem last yr getting scolded by my dad for gg to the soccer finals and delaying the dinner as he pick me up frm kallang stadium. anw, i'm so glad for them, the waiter tot got world cup match or wat he was so stunned when i told my family we won 4-2 loudly. i rem mr tan telling me last time tat they may not hav a chance to enter semis, and i can see he was so worried abt them and even gg to see soccer trgs over cross trgs. i'm glad he had finally achieve his dream. he din shaved bald for nth. i din wan them to lose, i cant imagine them feeling the loss aft losing to mj last yr, it wld be too much for them to endure, esp mr tan. and also recalling back how the cross girls was so close to getting 3rd, i can really feel the heartache now and i dun wan them to feel the same. btw, our soccer girls won too.. hockey girls too.. tennis girls too for the past 2 days. too bad i cant go down due to flu. had been slping a lot for the past days. even these days, i can even slp throughout the whole journey on 76 b4 reaching home.
tmr, very likely a day-off, if not from 10.35am release minus abt 4 periods from the 4 championship titles. we dun need to bring any notes etc le. vjc really rocks!
