tioman retreat!!~ well it was fun.. well i wont say exactly all the time, sometimes a bit sian, a bit boring.. but when it gets crazy and funny.. it's damn enjoyable.. being able to laugh with everyone like mad!

1st, really seriously disappointed with the beach. like a fellow programmer mentioned.. got sun, sea but no sand. the beach is cui cui cui CUI!! senior programmers are all damn sian abt it. got corals here and there.. so no beach games etc. 2nd, the lodging. shan't criticise it.. but well.. it's cui. the thing i hate most is bugs. i dunno what thing bit me throughout the 2 nights. but i have bumps all over my face and legs. maybe sandflies. jackets are useless against them. well well... however, what's fun are the games we organised and snorkelling. i love everything about these 2.. i just love the feeling on being on a boat.. the feeling of the wind, the smell, the drifting currents etc etc.. superb! as for the waters, not as good as redang acc to me. but i'll never get bored of snorkelling. i love of the feeling of being surrounded by fishes and emptyness of the open waters.. i do hope to be able to swim safely with sharks one day.. must save money to go maldives. my next target..

as for the programmers.. they're all really a nice bunch of guys. although i'm not exactly close to them, all are friendly and warm in a way. from my experience so far if u dare to stray from your usual gang and interact more with others, i guess it will be more like a family and more complete i think. a little disappointing is that we failed in a way to achieve that. oh welll, final conclusion is that i do enjoy the company of some programmers i thought that i will nv be close with. hah i'm kinda happy that in uni i dun exactly have my own clique/gang. sort of get to know everyone fairly. prob some guys dun get along well with some other guys or smth la, yet to discover any though.

games was damn funny. i'm glad that koksing was not sad after all. he was so sian before that cos some of us really dun feel like playing. but really it was loads of fun and laughs. i still have little snippets of scenes reeling through my mind! oh well.. tioman was definitely a nice memory.

iron man was a damn cool movie. go watch it! everyone was so amazed by his intelligence and ys instead was also very facinated with the fact that everything is based on physics. as expected. also there's a mini scene after the creditials.

shall post up tiomanpics when i feel like it hah. currently watching this lame taiwan show called brown sugar machiatto. quite like it.. but cannot compare it to pride and full house and good luck.

went back with lingx to vj today for a 4.5k run. both of us have our old injuries acting up. but.. running still makes me feel good. i miss the flying feeling i used to get when i was at my peak.. anw we ordered jackets and met mr tan. i had a happy day overall. hope to get the gallery job!
