trip was totally worth it although i'm going for the second time. had tasty food, great savings shopping, superb sight seeing, temple praying and met a TVB actor. totally cool. pictures up real soon.
i'm going to be real real busy with camp stuff. lots of updates and thinking planning to be done. and am really glad to see class 2/8 reunite again. hemma came back from aus and christie entering bmt this coming thurs. guess he'll see ppl like jeremy mokk over there.
as for hk, i do have lots of thoughts. makes me wish that life here would be much simpler, traditional and less materialistic. sometimes i don't feel proud to be a singaporean. everything or most stuff that we do or the govt do or whatever that is always or seems to be fueled by the lust for wealth, power or recognition. makes me wonder. things over there are simpler and of course they do have their domestic issues like rising food costs etc. i see people in their trade motivated and passionate in their work although it maybe considered 'dirty' or 'unskilled labour' as compared to our 'knowledge-based economy'. But basically, people there feels more genuine than singaporeans.
