finally work is getting less busy. have been staring at the computer for the past week doing excel and autocad. see until i go blur. took time to surf about singapore's marine community, particularly near our reclamation site. cyrene reefs (just beside jurong island) is super amazing la and my internship project is all about helping to protect them. check this out: http://wondercreation.blogspot.com/search/label/cyrene%20reef . this guy arh.. apart from saying god here god there.. he has good photography skills! planning to ask permission and cite few of their photos for my log book and report.

i bought a white chocolate macademia nut cookie to work today. eating it makes me feel happy all the way till lunch. office lifestyle is quite interesting here. apart from all the lame jokes during lunch, we celebrate birthdays almost every other week. today's one is for the june babies and luckily they din know about mine bday. i think i'm quite uptight and serious in front of them all the time, but the truth is i'm tired all the time...

here is my fav picture - a baby cushion sea star where its arms are not fully developed yet. the intricate pattern resemble the map of the whole universe personally, like u can imagine the black parts as black holes and the yellow parts as mess of galaxy clusters. anw do u know there's no such thing as star fishs? scientifically they are known as sea stars. and today i found out there are knobbly, cushion and even biscuit sea stars! the mention of biscuit sea star makes me feel like eating a sea star shaped biscuit. but anyway its not too hard to differentiate them in general. like this cushion sea star looks like a cushion for u to sit on..

shall not upload more of the blog's pictures in case people sue me. and i hope i could make a living out of studying the marine environment.. :))
